Startup Company Case Study for Tick OFF
Tick OFF
The Problem: Lyme disease and tick bites are rising globally. Current solutions rely on heavy chemical sprays (DEET) that wear off, smell bad, and ruin clothing.
The Spark: Ticks navigate using specialized sensory receptors (Haller’s organs) to detect heat, carbon dioxide, and vibrations. Tick Off creates a localized frequency field around the lower legs—the primary entry point for ticks—to completely confuse their sensors and make the wearer "invisible."
